The first floor Meridian took, and still the one the others are measured against. Two knocked-through townhouse floors above the botanical garden, with the original plasterwork left where it survived and everything else built new: long oak tables under the windows, a coffee bar that runs until six, and a garden terrace that doubles as the overflow meeting room from April onwards. It is the noisiest of the three in the middle of the day and the easiest to fall into conversation in.
